This app is simple to use on a daily basis, but powerful and flexible. Below Ill discuss daily use, setup, getting feedback on how youve done, how to fix data for a day in the past, the developer, and my wish list for the future. Overall, I recommend this app very highly.
Daily use: all habits that are active that day are on one screen. With simple gestures, you can set done/skipped/missed or add a note. The simplicity of this screen was what I needed. Every other app I have tried (and thats a lot) has needed multiple taps or taken off this screen. Note that you need to swipe a habit both left and right to see all the options, such as writing a note or editing the habit itself.
Setup: you can choose the color of the habit, which days its active or how many times a week its active, whether theres a reminder, and order on the page. There is no way to set something for more than once a day.
Feedback: graphs show % compliance overall or per habit. You cant group them. If you skip a day (rather than miss) the graph adjusts appropriately. Theres also a very nice calendar overview. For 8 habits, it shows done/skipped/missed. This works really well because you choose which 8 and which spot for each.
Fixing data: that same calendar will take you to any past date, so you can fix an incorrect entry.
Developer: I emailed what I thought was a problem. I got a response within 24 hours. He understood the question and suggested something to try, which worked.
Wish list: % compliance graph for all tasks of the same color (ie I use blue for all exercise-related habits), allow #/day for things like drinking water.
